Wednesday, August 7, 20247:30pm

The Bridgewater Hall, Lower Mosley St
Manchester M2 3WS, United Kingdom

Hear teenage musicians from The National Youth Orchestra performing As One, absolutely united in their love of music to explore daring human stories and powerful emotions on a dramatic scale.

How far would you go for love? Orpheus Undone is one of the most beautiful and sad stories of all time — compelled to save the woman he loves Orpheus journeys into the underworld. The Flying Dutchman Overture is a voyage of frenzied obsession. Mahler’s exhilarating Titan Symphony is powered by his deep sense of hope in every individual’s capacity to get through difficulty and find meaning in life.

Mirroring the musical journey, every teenager on stage reaches deep, transcending their personal challenges to play their part with urgency and love, As One.

They hope to inspire other young people to do the same. Tickets are Free for Teens.
