Come celebrate the release of Song from the Uproar, Missy’s opera, on New Amsterdam Records, at Le Poisson Rouge. This album is an original cast recording featuring performances by mezzo-soprano Abigail Fischer, NOW Ensemble, conductor Steven Osgood, Celine Mogielnicki (soprano), Amelia Watkins (soprano), Kate Maroney (alto), Tomas Cruz (tenor), Peter Stewart (baritone). The party on the 11th will include performances by Abby, Amelia and NOW Ensemble, with films by Stephen Taylor.
New Amsterdam Records will also release a limited edition version with a hand-printed cover that folds out into a posted designed by Stephen S. Taylor. This version will also include a DVD with films from the opera.
